Billed as "a genealogical Rogue-lite", Rogue Legacy is a mash-up of side-scrolling Metroidvania platforming and roguelike perma-death, as players build up a knight's lineage by exploring the procedurally-generated Castle Hamson while collecting gold, attempting to defeat bosses, and dying (many times, with each death bringing forth a new descendent).
